BATHING BEAUTIES / VOGUE ITALIA + STEVEN MEISEL
For their May issue, Vogue Italia chose a picture of two unfamiliar models for the cover, which caused mixed reactions. They are Kirsi Pyrhonen and Daria Strokous. Styled by Karl Templer, the editorial titled Bathing Beauties also includes these two alongside Hind Sahli, Ylonka Verheul, Julia Nobis and Caroline Brasch Nielsen. There’s something so simple and beautiful about this and I just can’t pinpoint it. Maybe it’s the lighting? It could be that they’re having fun for a change. But who doesn’t like a bath?
